[NOTICE] PENUP UPDATE VER 3.9.17

Hello, PENPLEs!

We’re happy to announce that the Android version of the PENUP app has been updated to version 3.9.17.

So here’s a quick summary of what’s changed in PENUP version 3.9.17.

First, we’ve increased the maximum size you can choose for your canvas.

Previously, the largest you could set your canvas to was 2400px.

Now, you can set it all the way up to 4096px.

Head over to the custom settings for your canvas, and type in up to 4096px to paint on a larger canvas.

However, this does depend on which device you're using (some devices may not be able to process a larger canvas).

This means you won’t be able to use the full 4096px on some devices.

Otherwise, set your canvas to the size you want and start painting!

Second, we’ve added new downloadable brushes.

You’ve added a function that allows you to download brushes, so that you can simply select and use the brush you want.

To download brushes, go to Brush settings at the very end of your Brush tools window.

If you tap ‘Download more brushes’ in Brush settings, you’ll be redirected to a window where you can download various brushes.

Here, select the brush you want and press the ‘Download’ button to download it onto your device.

Downloaded brushes will be added to each relevant category, so check each category to see which brushes you’ve downloaded.

The PENUP team is working hard to offer high-quality brushes that deliver an easier and more enjoyable painting experience.

We do plan on adding new brushes going forward, so please keep an eye out for more updates.

Third, you can create folders inside your Drafts.

We’ve added the ability to create folders in your Drafts to help you sort and use your files much more easily.

To add a folder, click ‘More options’ at the top of your Drafts page.

If you press ‘Create folder’, you can create a folder under a new name.

Once you’ve created and named your folder, you’ll see it at the top of your Drafts.

However, please note that when you save a file in your Drafts, it’ll only save it on your current device.

If you plan on switching to a new device, you’ll need to back up your files using the ‘Smart Switch’ app.

Try creating new folders and save your files in whichever folder you want to!

Fourth, we’ve added a ‘Save as new artwork’ function.

Sometimes, you may want to save a painting you’ve done so far and then paint something new on top of it.

Now, you have the option to ‘Save as new artwork’, which allows you to save your work under a different file name.

If you click on 'More options' → then press ‘Save as new artwork’ in the Drawing Tool, you can save the work you’ve done so far in your Drafts.

Then, when you save the drawing again using ‘Save as new artwork’, you’ll be able to save it in your Drafts under a different name.

This function is available for drawing, coloring, and live drawing.

Save the work you’ve done so far under a different name, and create a whole new piece by adding another layer of imagination on top of it!
